CHEYENNE, Wyo.

Mark Anthony Balls, 53, a former Cache Valley resident, died Sunday, Feb. 5, 1995, in the United Medical Center-West in Cheyenne, of causes incident to coronary heart disease.

He was born April 30, 1941, in Logan, the son of Clin Anthony and Ellen Peterson Balls. He married Isabelle Grey Richmond on Nov. 22, 1966, in Elko, Nev. She preceded him in death on July 13, 1988. He married Nina Ann Nutsch on Nov. 21, 1989, in Elko, Nev.

At the time of his death he was a driver for Consolidated Freightways and a member of Western Teamsters Union, Local #307. He was a member of the Cheyenne LDS 5th Ward.

He is survived by his wife, Nina, of Cheyenne; four sons and three daughters: Eric M. Balls of Logan, Blair A. Balls and Lance C. Balls of Cheyenne, Terry A. Tamerius of Alameda, Calif., Amy R. Thompson of Cheyenne, Christina and Duane Craft of Aviaino, Italy, and Allison Larson of Atlanta, Ga.; three grandchildren; his mother of Logan; two brothers, Leslie and Laura Balls of Hyde Park and Alma and DeAnn Balls of Smithfield and a sister, Ilarene and Arlo Jones of Danville, Calif. He was preceded in death by his father. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Lincolnway LDS chapel in Cheyenne. Friends may call from 6-8 tonight at the Schrader Funeral Home in Cheyenne. Additional services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Cranney Mortuary chapel, 420 E. 1800 North in Logan. Friends may call at the mortuary one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in the Hyde Park City Cemetery.
